This morning Year 2 read the poem ‘Voices of Water’ by Tony Mitton.  We discussed the images and sounds which the words of the poem created in our imaginations!

To make our own ‘voices’ of water , we created onomatopoeia sounds by dropping water from different heights!  We then added these sounds to our whiteboards, ready for later use in our own poems!
