Year 2 began the entry point to their new toipc, ‘water’, by paying a visit to the Sealife Aquarium at Waterloo.  The children instantly recognised nearby landmarks from their buildings topic, and we even heard the chimes of Big Ben!

The first thing we saw was another glass bridge – just like the one at Tower Bridge!  But this time we had stingrays and sharks swimming directly beneath our feet!  We saw a whole host of sea animals and amphibians!

The best part was when we went through the underwater tunnel, then sat outside various tanks to try and capture the sealife through Art, the tools we used were oil pastels and water-colours.
